Description

Cyproheptadine + Tricholine Citrate is a combination of two medicines: Cyproheptadine and tricholine citrate which revives appetite. Cyproheptadine is an appetite stimulant. It works by reducing the effect of serotonin (a chemical messenger) in the hypothalamus, a part of the brain which regulates appetite. Tricholine citrate is a bile acid binding agent. It removes bile acids from the body. The liver then produces more bile acids using cholesterol, as a result, the level of cholesterol in the body is lowered.

Cyproheptadine+Tricholine Citrate is used as appetite stimulant.

It may cause dizziness and drowsiness. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration.

Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine as it can cause excessive drowsiness and increase your risk of stomach problems. 4. Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.

If you have missed giving any dose of this medicine, then give it as soon as you remember. If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule. Follow the dosing schedule regularly & take this medicine at regular intervals.
