This contains Folic acid, Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin), and Nicotinamide (vitamin B3). Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate. Folate is a water-soluble Vitamin B naturally found in food sources. It helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer.
Vitamin B12 regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Nicotinamide (also known as Niacinamide) is a form of vitamin B3 (niacin). It helps in replenishing the energy in the body cells and provides essential nutrients.
Vitobit B12 belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent niacin deficiency (pellagra), folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking VITOBIT-B12 Injection as they make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine.
Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications like antihypertensives, antibiotics, or medicines for heart disease or bone disorders.
If you have missed giving any dose of this medicine, then give it as soon as you remember. If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule. Follow the dosing schedule regularly & take this medicine at regular intervals.
