Clavulanic acid is a beta lactamase inhibitor it prevents the development of bacterial resistance thereby enhancing the activity of Cefopodoxime.

Do not skip any dose, complete the full treatment course even if you feel better. Take it with food, preferably at the same time everyday.
If any dose of Tabonic CV is missed, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for next dose, skip the missed dose and follow the regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
