Gasvac 150mg tablet is a medicine containing Ranitidine which is a histamine H2 receptor blocker that reduces the amount of acid made in the stomach. It relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Histamine H2 receptor blockers like ranitidine work by selectively blocking the action of histamine on the H2 receptors found on the cells in the stomach lining. By inhibiting the action of histamine, ranitidine reduces the secretion of gastric acid, which helps in relieving symptoms and promoting healing of conditions such as gastritis, peptic ulcers, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Gasvac 150mg tablet is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) , peptic ulcer and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Headache, Diarrhea & Gastrointestinal disturbance
As prescribed by the physician.

If you are taking some other antacid medications, take them 2 hours before or after taking Gasvac 150 tablet.
If you have missed giving any dose of Gasvac 150 tablet, then take it as soon as you remember. If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule. Follow the dosing schedule regularly & take this medicine at regular intervals.
Gasvac 150 tablet is used in the treatment of conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux), peptic ulcer and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
It usually starts to reduce stomach acid within an hour, with full effect in about 2–3 hours.
Some medications may interact with ranitidine. Always inform your healthcare provider of all drugs and supplements you are taking.
