Pantodil DSR capsule is a medication containing Pantoprazole and Domperidone. It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease, dyspepsia and gastritis.
Pantodil DSR capsule is a combination medicine contai`ning ; Pantoprazole and Domperidone. It works by neutralising the acid in the stomach and promotes easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort.
Pantodil DSR capsule is used in the treatment of indigestion, Gastroesophageal reflux disease and in the treatment of gastritis.

Pantodil DSR capsule should be taken in the dose and duration as prescribed by the doctor. It is to be taken empty stomach.
Pantodil DSR capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domeperidone and Pantoprazole. Domeperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

1) Long term use can cause weak bones and deficiency of minerals such as magnesium.
2) Take Pantodil-DSR capsule one hour before the meals, preferably in the morning.
If you miss a dose of Pantodil D capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Pantodil-DSR Capsule is safe for most of the patients. However, in some patients, it may cause common side effects like diarrhea, stomach pain, flatulence, dryness in the mouth, dizziness, headache, and other uncommon and rare side effects. If you experience any persistent problem while taking this medication, inform your doctor.
It is advisable to limit alcohol intake while using Pantodil-DSR capsule, as alcohol can irritate the stomach lining and interfere with the effectiveness of the treatment.
There are no specific food restrictions, but it’s best to avoid spicy or fatty foods that may irritate your stomach. Eating smaller, more frequent meals may help manage GERD or acid reflux symptoms.
It typically takes a few days to a week for significant relief of symptoms. However, the full therapeutic effect may take longer, depending on the condition being treated.
