Lactomove syrup contains Lactulose which is a laxative and helps in the treatment of constipation.
Lactomove Syrup contains Lactulose, a synthetic sugar used as a gentle and effective osmotic laxative. It works by drawing water into the colon, softening the stool, and stimulating natural bowel movements. Lactomove is ideal for the treatment of chronic constipation and for reducing blood ammonia levels in patients with hepatic encephalopathy.
It is used for the symptomatic relief of constipation and for reducing blood ammonia levels in patients with hepatic encephalopathy.
Some common side effects are nausea, abdominal pain, flatulence, diarrhea and vomiting.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Picomove Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Lactomove syrup works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, which makes the stool soft and easier to pass.

1) Take it atleast 2 hours after taking other medicines, as it may interfere with the absorption of other medicines.
2) It is usually taken once a day as needed for up to 2 weeks. Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
If you have missed giving any dose of this medicine, then give it as soon as you remember. If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule. Follow the dosing schedule regularly & take this medicine at regular intervals.
It takes about 2-3 days to see the benefits of the treatment. Talk to your doctor if you feel constipated even after 3 days of taking Lactomove syrup.
