Dapaflunic-M -500 is a combination medicine containing Dapagliflozin and Metformin. It is used in the management of diabetes mellitus.
Dapaflunic-M-500 is a sodium-glucose contransporter 2 inhibitor. It is used to manage blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. Dapagliflozin helps remove excess glucose through urine, while Metformin lowers glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity. Together, they help improve blood sugar control when diet and exercise alone are not enough.

1) Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated while taking this medication.
2) Hypoglycemia can occur when use with some other hypoglycemic agents.

If you miss a dose of Dapaflunic-M-500 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Yes. Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking, including insulin, diuretics, blood pressure medicines, and NSAIDs, as these may interact with DAPAFLUNIC-M-500.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms of lactic acidosis (such as unusual muscle pain, difficulty breathing, stomach pain, dizziness), severe dehydration, or signs of allergic reactions.
It is advisable to limit or avoid alcohol while taking this medication as alcohol can increase the risk of lactic acidosis and affect blood sugar levels.
