Gasvac-D is a combination medicine containing Ranitidine and Domperidone. It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer disease. It relieves heartburn, stomach pain or irritation. It promotes the movement of food in stomach to prevent reflux.

Gasvac-D is combination of domeperidone and ranitidine. Domeperidone is a prokinetic agent that helps to improve the digestion by increasing the movement of stomach and intestines, allowing food to pass more easily and preventing reflux. While, Ranitidine is a histamine H2 blocker that reduces stomach acid production thus provides relief from acid related conditions such as Gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcers.

1) Swallow whole with water; do not crush,chewor break as it may affect how the medicine works.
2) Stick to the prescribed dose, do not take extra dose if you missed one.
If you have missed giving any dose of Gasvac-D, then take it as soon as you remember. If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule. Follow the dosing schedule regularly & take this medicine at regular intervals.
Speak with your doctor if you conceive while taking Gasvac-D Tablet. Let your doctor know even if you are planning a baby. Some studies have shown that its use is unsafe during pregnancy, as it may harm the fetus.
Take Gasvac-D Tablet exactly as directed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. To prevent heartburn and acid indigestion, take it 30-60 minutes before eating food or drinking beverages, as that can lead to indigestion. Follow all directions as advised.
Serious side effects are rare but can occur if you take a higher-than-recommended dose. You could have stomach pain that seems to be getting worse (sign of an inflamed liver or pancreas), back pain, fever, pain while peeing, or blood in your urine (signs of kidney problems), rash, and a slow or irregular heartbeat.
