Ondaprex-MD is a medicine used to control nausea and vomiting due to certain medical conditions like stomach upset. It is also used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused due to surgery, cancer drug therapy or radiotherapy.
Ondaprex-MD tablet is a fast-acting antiemetic tablet containing Ondansetron, a potent serotonin (5HT3) receptor antagonist. Ondansetron is highly effective in preventing nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery.
Ondaprex MD tablet is used in the treatment and prevention of Nausea and Vomiting.
Some common side effects include headache, fatigue, constipation, dizziness.
In the dosage as advised by the doctor. It can be taken with or without food.

1) It is fast acting and starts working within 30 minutes.
2) If vomiting occurs within 1 hour of taking  a dose, take another dose.
3) Avoid heavy meals and try eating small, nourishing snacks throughout the day. Also, sip water regularly to help avoid dehydration.
If you miss a dose of Ondaprex MD tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
While Ondaprex-MD tablet is considered safe during pregnancy, it should only be used when necessary and prescribed by a healthcare provider. If you're pregnant or planning to become pregnant, always consult your doctor before taking Ondaprex-MD.
Most patients experience relief from nausea and vomiting within 30 minutes to an hour after taking Ondaprex-MD. However, for chemotherapy and radiation-induced nausea, you may need additional doses, as prescribed by your doctor.
It is generally recommended to avoid alcohol while taking Ondaprex-MD, as alcohol can enhance certain side effects like dizziness or drowsiness. Consult your doctor for personalized advice if you consume alcohol regularly.
