Sudomol IV Injection helps in relieving moderate pain and reducing fever. It effectively alleviates pain and reduces fever for the short-term in cases following surgery or in cases where oral administration is not possible.
Sudomol IV is a sterile, clear, non-pyrogenic solution containing Paracetamol 1000 mg, formulated for administration via intravenous infusion. It is designed for rapid onset of analgesic (pain-relieving) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) effects, especially in clinical situations where oral or rectal administration is not feasible.
Sudomol IV provides the fast onset of action. It is used for relieving the mild to moderate pain in conditions such as - post-operative pain, musculoskeletal pain, hedache and dental pain. It is also used to reduce fever when oral medication cannot be taken.
Some common side effects include Nausea, Vomiting, constipation, itching and headache and some injection site reactions - Pain, swelling and redness.
Sudomol IV is administered only through intravenous (IV) infusion by a trained healthcare professional.
The solution is usually given slowly over 15 minutes to ensure safe absorption and avoid infusion-related reactions.

If you vomit in less than 30 minutes after having a dose of Sudomol IV Injection, inform your physician of the same.
Overdose of Sudomol IV injection may cause severe life-threatening liver injury. Taking more than the prescribed dose may also cause kidney injury, decreased platelet count, and even coma. Early symptoms of an overdose include nausea, vomiting, and general tiredness. Immediately consult a doctor or reach an emergency in case of a suspected overdose.
