Namocef-SB is a combination of Ceftriaxone and Sulbactam. Ceftriaxone is an atibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria.
Namocef-SB is an antibiotic which is a powerful combination comprising of Ceftriaxone and salbactum. Ceftriaxone is ued in the treatment of serious bacterial infections and Sulbactum is beta lactamase inhibitor which enhances the activity of ceftriaxone.
Ceftriaxone + Salbactum is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
Increased white blood cell count (eosinophils), Decreased white blood cell count (lymphocytes), Low blood platelets, Rash, Diarrhea, Increased liver enzymes, Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness)
Dosage as prescribed by the physician.
Namocef-SB is a combination of Ceftriaxone and Sulbactum. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic it works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell wall and sulbactum inactivates the beta lactamase enzyme thus reduces the resistance and increases the activity of ceftriaxone against the bacteria.

Do not skip any dose, complete the full treatment course even if you feel better. Take it with food, preferably at the same time everyday.
If any dose of Namocef-SB is missed, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for next dose, skip the missed dose and follow the regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Usually, NAMOCEF SB Injection starts working soon after taking it. However, it may take some days to kill all the harmful bacteria and make you feel better.
Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform them if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
