This contains cholecalciferol 60000 IU, also known as Vitamin D3 which is synthesized in our skin under the influence of UV rays. Vit D is well absorbed from the intestines in the presence of bile salts. In the circulation, it is bound to a specific α globulin and is stored in the body, mostly in adipose tissues, for many months. It is hydroxylated in the liver to active and inactive metabolites.
Lack of exposure to sun light causes the deficiency of Vitamin d3. It is use in Prophylaxes and treatment of nutritional vitamin D3 deficiency, metabolic Rickets(condition in which tissues do not respond to normal doses of vit D.), senile or postmenopausal osteoporosis, It helps our body to absorb calcium , it keeps or bone strong, osteomalacia and osteoporosis.

"The serum concentration of Cholecalciferol can be increased when it is combined with Abametapir.
Acebutolol The metabolism of Acebutolol can be decreased when combined with Cholecalciferol.
Acetaminophen The metabolism of Acetaminophen can be decreased when combined with Cholecalciferol.
Acetyldigitoxin The risk or severity of ventricular arrhythmias and Cardiac Arrhythmia can be increased when Cholecalciferol is combined with Acetyldigitoxin.
If you have missed giving any dose of this medicine, then give it as soon as you remember. If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule. Follow the dosing schedule regularly & take this medicine at regular intervals.
