Namocef-TZ is a combination antibiotic, consisting of Ceftriaxone and Tazobactam.
Namocef -TZ is an antibiotic consisting of Ceftriaxone and Tazobactam. Ceftriaxoen is used in the treatment of serious bacterial infections. However, Tazobactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.
Namocef-TZ is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
Diarrhea, Rash, Nausea, Vomiting, Allergic dermatitis, Elevated serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase
Dosage as prescribed by the physician.
Ceftriaxone is a third-generation cephalosporin that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), disrupting peptidoglycan cross-linking and leading to cell lysis and death.
Tazobactam is a β-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the activity of β-lactam antibiotics like ceftriaxone by protecting them from enzymatic degradation, thereby broadening the antibacterial spectrum.

Do not skip any dose, complete the full treatment course even if you feel better. Take it with food, preferably at the same time everyday.
If any dose of Namocef-TZ is missed, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for next dose, skip the missed dose and follow the regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Usually, NAMOCEF TZ Injection starts working soon after taking it. However, it may take some days to kill all the harmful bacteria and make you feel better.
Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform them if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
