Composition – Rabeprazole Sodium 20 mg + Domperidone 30 mg

Domperidone + Rabeprazole is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Rabeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach.

Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Uses

Domperidone+Rabeprazole is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease.

  • 1. Abacavir may decrease the excretion rate of Rabeprazole which could result in a higher serum level.
  • 2. The metabolism of Rabeprazole can be increased when combined with Abatacept.
  • 3. Rabeprazole may decrease the excretion rate of Abemaciclib which could result in a higher serum level.
  • 4. The metabolism of Abrocitinib can be decreased when combined with Rabeprazole.
  • 5. Aceclofenac may decrease the excretion rate of Rabeprazole which could result in a higher serum level.

Quick Tips

Take it one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning.
It is a well-tolerated medicine and provides relief for a long time.
Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever or stomach pain that does not go away.

What if you forgot to take

If you have missed giving any dose of this medicine, then give it as soon as you remember. If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule. Follow the dosing schedule regularly & take this medicine at regular intervals.
