Tabonic CV dry syrup is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination containing Cefpodoxime proxetil 50mg and potassium clavulanic acid 31.25mg. It used to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections; especially those caused by beta-lactamase producing bacteria. The dry syrup form ensures better stability and longer shelf life before mixing with water. It is made in delicious pineapple flavour for enhancing the acceptance by the kids.
Tabonic CV dry syrup is a pediatric fomulation. It is an antibiotic combination containing cefpodoxime proxetil 50mg and potassium clavulanic acid 31.25mg. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, including those of respiratory tract, ear, throat and skin. It works by inhibiting the bacterial cell wall synthesis, while clavulanic acid helps in overcoming the bacterial resistance.

Tabonic CV dry syrup is a potent antibiotic containing cefpodoxime and clavulanic acid. Cefpodoxime Proxetil is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefpodoxime Proxetil against bacteria.

1) Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection.
2) Give this medicine with food to avoid an upset stomach.
Do not panic. Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember, but at least 12 hours before the next dose is due.
Tabonic CV dry syrup is used for the treatment of respiratory tract infections such as infection of throat, nose and lungs in children.
An extra dose Tabonic CV dry syrup is ulikely to harm. However, if you have given excessive dose of Tabonic CV dry syrup to your child by mistake, talk to your doctor immediately. As excessive dose may cause some unwanted side effects and may even worsen the condition.
