Thyrofirm 75 is a medicine containing thyroxine sodium 75mcg. It is used to treat an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism). It replaces the hormone which is not being produced by your thyroid gland in sufficient quantity and helps regulate your body’s energy and metabolism.
Thyrofirm 75 is a medication containing 75 mcg of thyroxine sodium, used to treat hypothyroidism (an underactive thyroid gland). It works by replacing the insufficient thyroid hormone in your body, helping to regulate energy levels, metabolism, and overall hormonal balance. Thyrofirm 75 supports normal growth, development, and metabolic functions by restoring the natural hormone levels your thyroid is unable to produce.
It is used in hypothyroidism.
Some common side effects of Thyrofirm are : Electrolyte imbalance, dizziness, fatigue, muscle cramp and headache.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Thyrofirm 75mcg Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.
Thyrofirm 75mcg Tablet is a synthetic version of a hormone produced by the thyroid gland. It works by replacing the thyroid hormones that your thyroid gland cannot produce in a sufficient quantity, and relieves the symptoms of hypothyroidism (tiredness, weight gain, and depression).

1) Thyrofirm 25mg tablet should be taken on an empty stomach (ideally, first thing in the morning. No meals should be take one hour before and two hours later of taking the medicine.
2) It may take upto 8 weeks to show the full effect.
3) It is advised to not to discontinue the medicine without consulting your doctor.
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and do not double it.
