Azithrotab 200mg is oral suspension, available in yummy mango flavor. It contains azithromycin 200mg which is an antibiotic. It is commonly given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections targeting the ear, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and gastrointestinal tract.
Azithrotab Suspension contains Azithromycin 200 mg, a macrolide antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections such as respiratory, ear, throat, skin, and soft tissue infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria and is available in a delicious mango-flavoured suspension for easy administration and better acceptance in children.
Azithrotab 200mg oral suspension is used in the treatment of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, ear infections, throat infections and skin infections.
Some common side effects include- nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
Azithrotab 200mg Oral Suspension is usually given once a day, preferably in the morning. However, in the case of typhoid, it is to be given twice. Give it with or without food at about the same time each day.
However, it is best given with food since children often have a sensitive stomach and could easily get a stomach upset.
Azithrotab suspension contains azithromycin that binds to the bacterial ribosome, preventing protein synthesis. Azithrotab suspension works by inhibiting the growth of the infection-causing bacteria and stopping it from multiplying. As a result of this, the spread of the infection is disabled.

1) Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect.
2) Stop the medicine and contact the doctor immediately if your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, and breathing difficulties soon after the intake.
3) Always finish the full course even if the child feels better.
Do not panic. Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember, but at least 12 hours before the next dose is due.
