CEFLUV CV is an antibiotic containing Cefixime and Clavulanic acid.
Cefluv CV is an antibiotic works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of the bacteria in the human body.
Clavulanic Acid enhances the activity of Cefixime against the bacteria as well as reduces resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotic.
CEFLUV CV is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, indigestion, and diarrhea.

Cefluv CV Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Clavulanic Acid. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime against bacteria.

Do not skip any dose, complete the full treatment course even if you feel better. Take it with food, preferably at the same time everyday.
If any dose of Cefluv CV is missed, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for next dose, skip the missed dose and follow the regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Cefluv CV Tablet should be used with particular care in patients with severely impaired renal function. Dose modification is advised for patients with moderate or severe renal impairment.
The dose of Cefluv CV Tablet should be adjusted in patients with impairment of kidneys and for those who have gastrointestinal disease or colitis.
The use of Cefluv CV Tablet can lead to serious side effects like severe stomach/abdominal pain, persistent nausea/vomiting, unusual tiredness, new signs of infection (e.g., persistent sore throat, fever), yellowing of eyes/skin, dark urine, easy bruising/bleeding, signs of kidney problems (such as change in the amount of urine), and mental/mood changes (such as confusion).
